Au Pair plus

You will work an average of 30 hours in the home plus 2 evenings babysitting, and will have 2 days off – usually the weekend or other days by arrangement. In general, an au-pair works alongside the mother, caring for kids. You are not to be left in whole time charge of children, though again this depends on the age and experience you bring and if you are willing to take the responsibility. The recommended pocket money is between €75 – €125 per week.

Demi-Carer

You are willing to take on more responsibility and have some experience already in the fields of Medicine, Nursing, Physiotherapy or you have personal experience of working with special needs. You will work up to 40 hours a week, live in or out, and will be paid a minimum of €200 per week.

Fulltime Carer / Care Assistant

You have more than 3 years experience or a professional qualification. You have specialised skills that include the needs of the elderly, or severely disabled or are a qualified Nanny. You are happy to take on fulltime responsibility in the home and can expect to be paid €300 per week upwards, commensurate with experience, hours required and conditions. We especially welcome people with experience in the following fields : Medicine, Nursing, Therapy (Occupational or Physio), Psychology or people with first hand experience of working with special needs.
